When interviewed by Gerald de Kock on Supersport, Andrew McClean, one of SA's biking icons, had the following to say about the inaugural PwC Great Zuurberg Trek.
“It was absolutely unbelievable .... in fact, some of the best mountain biking I have ever seen.....I don’t think Sani2C in its first year could offer these kind of trails, so in years to come, another wonderful, wonderful stage race in the making; community involvement, all the right things happening. It was the first time ever riders have ridden in the Addo Elephant Park, absolutely beautiful!"
